Im going to install a HB Interlink to connect a HB 997 to the 787 on the bow. Wanted to see if yall had any suggestions for securing the interlink device. Im thinking about zip-ties to connect it to the harness under the console. Do yall see any issues with this? Other recommendations? Thanks much. Patrick

Bass Cat from the factory installed mine. Under the drivers dash on the forward side resting on the lip is where they put mine. They were secured with screws, I dont think you want zip-ties securing somthing like that! I would hate for you to be launching out on a tournament and have the GPS come unpluged. Rusty

This is where I mounted mine under the dash also, on the fiberglass strip running front to back. Along with the weathersense.

The only issue we have had with HumminBird units is the connections on the Interlink box. The best suggestion we have is to shrink wrap the ends and secure the cabling to remove pressure on the ends as they can work loose from the Interlink.
