Best spot to epoxy transducer

I think most are mounted about 3 inches or so in front of the drain plug to one side. Not sure exactly on a 93 but this where I mounted one on a 95 model. Im surprised there is not already a puck of some sort already glued, if so just mount your new one about where the old one is just on the other side. Yes, there is a small tducer there, for the Lowrance flasher. Its on one side and I can get the hbird on the other. I had read to test drive with a sand bag on the tducer until you find the right spot, figured that someone has done this before! Thanks for the help and Ill let you know how this works out.

I fabricated a bracket and attached to the lower rt side of the jackplate to mount the side imaging transducer. I was fortunate that I already had a Humminbird transducer installed in the sump. I also installed a switch so I could select the transducer to use. The in hull works better at speed. 89 P II.
