UPS just delivered a package to me from Bass Cat. It was a jacket and cap for buying a new Puma. The best part of the gift is the hand written/signed letter from Rick Pierce thanking me for buying a Bass Cat! I think I will have this letter framed. Does any other boat builder give this kind of appreciation to its customers? Actually, you dont have to answer this because I have owned just about every brand out there and never got an appreciation letter from any of them. Thank you Rick and Bass Cat!

Thanks Rusty! This is actually my second Bass Cat. I had a 1990 PII before. There is nothing like being in the family though.

The Cat family is the best! When you tell your fishing buddies about such gifts and letters from the Pierce family, they all comment about the payment notices they receive from the banks…….never a letter from Triton, Ranger, Champion board of directors.

ECAT I agree about THE FAMILY, I have a 1976 basscat that Ive been restoring and customizing for 3 year now and met Rick last month at the boat show in b-ham AL and spoke with him for almost an hour and he is one of the nicest people Ive ever met and Then help Ive recd from the people on this site and on the phone has been exceptional! If I could afford one Id buy one today! One of these days I will!

I think that everyone gets the same treatment at least I did. It is a nice gesture. Larry Brumley.P. S. the only negative was they didnt have Orange as a color choice for the jacket (the Grey was pretty nice)
