2009 Seats

BCB, I read that the seats will be new for 09. I am wanting to get new seats for my 04 Cougar. Q, will the 09 seat fit just like the old / newer seats will ? Will they still be priced the same? Thanks a lot.

The appearance is the same, though we are working with several different combinations of foam grades to improve the cushion and ride. We showed some of the foams and other items we are working on to the dealers at “Excellence In Action 2009”. This is an ongoing project as it has been for recent years since 2002. BCB

Thanks for the info. I think I will hold out a little more to see what happens. The guy I bought my boat from is 67 370 LBS. When I got the boat the seams were split, not a big deal, but what I noticed as soon as you sit in the seat, all the air from the foam is gone. That means I sit about a 1/2 off the bottom of the seat. Rough water is spine jarring to say the least. The final straw was when I was overseas, pulled the cover off, and a rat thought the seat tasted good. Ate the crap out of em.. So I am dying to buy some new seats, but I can wait if the 2009 seats will drop in. ( maybe ) Thanks again!
