Prop options – Cougar with 250 Yamaha SHO

Looking for advice on props for a 2005 Cougar and a new Yamaha SHO 250hp. (Hydraulic jplate) Have a T1 25P on it now for breakin but heard the Fury props do well on these setups also. Anyone with experience here ?

The TXP and FXP series are also propellers you should consider. The Fury is fine for some and that T1 Ventless is usually a good wheel.

Thanks BCB. Was hoping for some numbers but I guess Im on my own which is fine. Have a T1 25,26,27 Fury 25,26 ready to test this weekend. This is not my first rodeo!

I run a Puma FTD w/250 SHO. The absolute best prop is a T1 25p. Have tried many and nothing compares. Good luck.

I had a Puma FTD with a 250 SHO and a hydraulic plate. It performed very well with a 25 Fury. Tremendous torque, and 81 mph top end.
