Prop question for 95 pantera 2

I just bought my first Basscat 1995 Pantera 2. My brother always owned a basscat and I loved them. The question is that I am running a renegade 13 and 1/2 x 25 pitch 4 blade prop on it now. The boat has a 200 Evinrude Vindicator on it. It runs 72 mph with two people in it at around 5500 rpms. But when it gets close to top speed you really have to hold on to the steering wheel very tight. It will wear you out after a good little ride.Is this normal or can I change the prop to make it better. Of coure I dont have hydralic steering or no feedback steering. Also will I lose or gain top speed? Other than that I love my boat.

The engine is too high and needs to be lowered to reduce the right hand steering wheel torque. That is if you have easy steering when on the trailer. If you have a jack plate just drop it a half inch or so.

The boat steers easy untill it speeds up to 65 or so than it gets super hard to steer. Ill try to lower the motor on the jack plate 1/2 an inch. Is this a good prop to run on this boat or not? Thanks for all the help.
