Is the Pro Pack IV (Competition Series) compatible with AGM batteries? Does it automatically shut off when batteries are fully charged and go in to a maintenance mode for long term storage…etc? What are the best trolling motor batteries…money no object…did I just say that? Does anyone know how to recalibrate a RPM guage? Thanks… Bear

There are no best trolling batteries in our opinion. The Trojans are good, and there are others. AGM is the better option, though you can get fine life from standard lead acid. We would spend the money for the best cranking battery and just get what suits you on the trollers. The Pro Pack chargers do go to a maintenance trickle. BCB
