Ok all, Im sure most reading this have read the same thing hundreds of times. I need some good input and opinion. Here is my issue: I have a 1996 P2, 200 efi (2.5) on a 6″slidemaster jackplate. Recently I upgraded to a 36v trolling motor. As a result I have 3 AGM 31 batteries ( 73 pounds each) and an optima blue top starting battery. I bought the boat used and received 2 25″ Trophy props with the boat. I have never been totally happy with the props, But adding all the weight in the back along with full livewells and a partner my boat is really struggling. Alone with half tanks Im going 61 mph gps at wot 5800 rpms. Prop is 3.5 inches below pad. Now with both props needing some work, I am interested in buying a new prop. What I am looking for is for any of you out there with a similar set up to give me your input on what prop you are running. Basscat, I would love your input as well. Thank you in advance.
