Mercury Oil Pressure

I have an 08 Cougar with a 08 Mercury Optimax Pro. The smart craft buzzer went off and was reading 0 oil pressure on the gauge. The main oil reservoir was full and same with the smaller one on the engine. Has anyone had this problem and is there anything else I can check before bringing it in?

It could have to do with oil drive pump. There is no oil if it fails and the block would eventually fail. We would have it checked there should have been an audible beeper.

You need to go in calibrations and shut off the oil pressure function on the SmartCraft..That function is for 4 stroke OBs & M/C units not Optis…
