i talked to a yamaha rep at a shop in houston and i asked him and he told me. the 250sho almost as fast as the 300 offshore. and they are the same motor… only thing different is the computer on the motor and the lowerunit. now if you dont care about that pretty little yamaha warranty i can get you some information on a shop that is flashing the ecu on the shos and creating some monsters.
