skeeter Jim: Like DPT2005, I only use a coupler / hitch lock. If youre wanting to lock, or disable, the swing away tongue in the OPEN position you could get by with any decent padlock simply attached through one of the holes. That would sufficiently eliminate someone being able to easily hitch up and run off with your rig (at least the “honest” crooks?? ). However, if your goal is to replace one of the pins with a lock, I guess I would just take one of the existing pins and drill out the small existing hitch pin hole large enough to accommodate a master lock . Im fairly certain those pins are case-hardened, so be prepared to burn some drill bits or take it to a shop and get them to do it for you . Hope this helps, (edit: forget the first part.
