Would it be difficult to add tilt stering to my 05 classic? If not to difficult, bout how much is the damage (cost). Thanks Guess I should have bought a new Puma, by the time Im done doing all the little things, it will be bout the same. Billy
Its not going to be that easy. Youll have to add the whole steering assembly except the hoses and the parts at the engine. Then add hydraulic fluid and bleed the system of air again.
Unless you are a big guy and need the extra room to get into the seat, Id argue that its not worth doing. I have the tilt and hardly use it. There will be a bit more play in the steering too.
Well it depends on what you call “big” Im 6 7″ 340 pounds. so, not real big! Just kidding I was told by a couple others its not worth it, so I decided not to do it. Thanks for all your help and input.
