Put an accessory switch there– you never know what you might want to turn on and off at the bow after you get the boat set up! I fished out of several of these original P2s in the 90s, and the hull was incredible. I remember my dad fishing a BASS tournament at Thousand Islands, NY on the St. Lawrence River and Bassmaster filmed him (this was pre-ESPN ownership) and several other boats heading out into the mouth of Lake Ontario hitting 3 & 4 white caps– his was the only boat shown that didnt spear a single wave. This was (I think) the Thousand Islands Eastern Invitational from 97 that aired in early 98 if anybody has the tape. The following summer we went up there on vacation and fished in Dads new Jaguar and tore up the smallies waaaaay out in Ontario and ran across 6-8 foot swells on the way back to the river– that experience STILL remains the absolute most fun Ive had riding in a bass boat.
