Warning horn on 250 Pro XS has stopped working when key is first turned on????

I have a 2007 Mercury 250 Pro XS that the warning horn no longer sounds when you first turn on the key. What do I need to check to see if the horn is bad? There are two small horns under the dash that are the size of a quarter. One looks to be connected to the lowrance wiring. Is there a way to test the horn to see if it is bad? Any help is appreciated. RK

Disconnected the horn and tested on 12 volts. It is bad. Will order a new one on Monday. RK

That was fast! You should also check to see that you have 12 volts out of the harness with the key.

Checked with volt meter and there is 12 volts with the key on. Thanks RK
