I want to thank some special Bass Cat guys for helping at the Kids Unlimited Tournament. As most of you know this is where we pair up kids diagnosed with cancer with an angler for a 5 hour tournament. These kids will bring an inspiration to you. They show up sick, hurting and unsure of there future but dont complain just are excited to be there to fish. For the 3rd year in a row , the Bass Cat guys there all pitch in and give away 4-wheelers for the winner and draw prize. A kid just 14 years old won first prize and the inspiration of this story is that he just got out of the hospital on Thursday. Now he finds out he has a new issue with Kidney cancer. He had no Idea he had won the 4-wheeler so needless to say he was excited. The sad part is we usually loose 1 or 2 kids each year. This was mine and Charlie Hammacks 10th year to be part of this great event. I have been a director now for 6 years. When Charlie I started doing this with Kids Unlimited we were the only Bass Cat guys there, now nearly half the field is Cat owners. Shows how great of family Cat owners are. I want to thank Charlie Hammack, Jim Rozell, Darrell Kees, John Doza, John Schwietzer, Tony Digilormo, Ronnie and Brenda Bates, Jason Wolfe, Bill Harwell, James Flemming, Lance Duff, Mark Heberem and Bass Cat Boats.
