This new to me Jaguar that I just purchased has a hydraulic jackplate. While I understand the function of a jackplate Im not quite sure I fully understand all the benefits of one that is hydraulic. Will this allow me to adjust motor position on the fly or do I need to be sitting at idle? Are there any published or known “below pad” measurements or does that vary between rigs? And lastly, is there a guage available that will let me return to my “optimum” position once I get it set? Any input would be appreciated
