P4 Question

I would like to mount a standard 3 3/4″ cupholder near the trolling motor recess on my 07 P4 in the same place it is located on the Pumas and P2s. I have checked and there seems to be plenty of clearance. I just wanted to be sure because if BCB did not mount one there as on other models, there may be a good reason for not doing so! Is there a reason why I should not do this?? Thanks, Travis

There could be a brace across there to limit deck flexing. Also the wiring PVC comes up into that area on some models. If you check it and there is not an obstruction, we cant think of a reason not to. BCB

Flyswatter– It is a VERY simple install. I bought the stainless cupholder at Academy for $7.00 & they also had a black plastic one for $2.00. I used a dremel 561 multipurpose hi speed cutting bit to cut a 3 3/4″ circle, dabbed a little 2 part marine epoxy around the edges of the cut and slid the cupholder in. The red line in the pic indicates the brace that BCB referenced. Hope this helps, Travis

Im glad it helped some of you! I understand that false modesty is the worst form of bragging, but this really is an extremely simple project that anyone with a dremel tool can accomplish in about 15 mins! Thanks for the compliments & thanks for the help I have received from yall in the past. Travis
