had a tourament on lay lake al. talk to a guy that had a 07 puma like mine, the only difference he had a 300hp merc compared to my vz 250. He said it would run in the mids 90 s. Guys what do you think?
We have sold a few and have seen upper 80s playing with them. Though they were bare to run 90s and exotic in the set up. The motor is only about 25 ponies from a 250 Pro XS. The 300 XS Stroker is a very, Very nice engine also. It does run smooth and efficient.
My 2005 Cougar will run 81.6 to 83 empty…..I mean empty! My buddy driving by himself….I can not hold it! 90mph ……….that would be up to BCB and a prop shop! I have a sticker on my 250 Hammer ……………….(I am gonna piss the Mercs off) You were haulin ass when I passed you!
I boast and brag myself about my BC, tell him to take you for a ride , ….if he does not hit 80 he is full of it. My friend had to run the Tenn-Tom to get my speed! 27 big ear.
