Retractable tie-downs

Yes, Had the same issue while I was at the BCB factory, one of the guys sprayed a little WD-40 on the springs, worked it in and out a little by pulling on the strap and it worked it self out. Still works good, the springs get a little “oxidized” from putting in and out all the time. Hope this works for you.

by overtightening when the boat was on the trailer. mine wont spring retract, but you can still just ratchet them in when not in use so they dont drag behind the trailer.

I have the same issue on my margay, its only 6 weeks old and only had it out 4 times. I emailed Pete and asked for a new tie down since they are under warranty for 2 years. Never heard back, Im guessing he sent out a new one but without confirmation I wont know till it shows up……… or it doesnt.
