What is recommended vinyl protectant?

Just read in another post that BCB advises that armorall degrades the thread used in the seats. What is the recommended uv protectant for our seats?

They have stated Pledge for years, the only thing I ever use on the boat, cars, or bikes be it leather or vinyl.

I had a 88 model I purchase in 89 I always used nothing but lemon pledge still all four original seats. Just sold that boat couple yrs ago. Johnsons Scrubbing Bubbles and a semi soft brush to clean, Lemon Pledge to protect once they are clean.
