sonor interferance?

Hello everyone. I have a HB Matrix 97 on the bow, with a MK 101 us not the us2. When i turn on the TM I get interferance really bad, and all kinds of crazy depth readings. I tried a couple things I read on BFHP, hooking TM ground to starting battery ground and I tried running a wire from the skeg on the TM to the groung on the TM battery and the starting battery (not at the same time) and nothing worked. They mentioned a kit HB has to take care of this. Has anyone tried this kit? I would appreciate any responses on any thing to try. BCB and owners are the best. Thanks

The grounding wire you mentioned worked on my HB and 101 MK, you have to make sure you scrape the paint away to bare metal and we grounded under the strap holding the transducer on the skeg.BAYOU BANDIT

Please, Dont hesitate to contact the 800 service number at HumminBird for this. They will go out of their way to diagnose it. Especially since your talking about their trolling motor and LCR.
