I got to spend 2 days fishing out of a Cougar AE on Falcon last week, and really wante to brag a little. I caught my first 2 double digit bass (10lb-8oz big fish and a 10lb-6oz). Tuesday I ended up with 60 fish … 5 bass sack was 46.55!! I cant wait to go back. What an amazing lake!

Thats a pretty good trip!!Aside: Does anyone know if Gary Harlan still guides out of a BCB down there? I figure if Im going to book a trip, it might as well be with a guy with impeccable taste in boats.

Yes Brady, Garys still out there. Hes driving a Cougar FTD.

What a great time it is down there. You got some fantastic fish there !! WOW. Flyswatter and I went in 08 and had a super time. Want to go back but a little leary with all the trouble going on from the Mexican Side. Did you have any trouble down there ? Did Gary not venture to the Mexican side ?

Hell locate the fish with a couple hook sets then he puts down the rod and lets the boater enjoy the experience that he paid for. Wish a few more guides would take note of that. Good on him. Hes by far in a class of his own. If I ever go back and hes still guiding hell get my business again. I think dmoore58 would agree.

I might like to pick your brain sometime about Falcon. I live here in SA and dont get to go down there very often, but when I do, I like to make the best of it.
