Topic: Trailer Light Out, left rear?

Have 02 Classic for close to 6 yrs.. I replaced the right side trailer light right after getting this rig. Fished Friday before last and all lights worked properly, I check every time out. Fished again this Friday and the left side trailer light does not work at all. Is this most likely the light module itself that needs to be replaced or possibly a short? All other lights, pickup and trailer are all working right. If light module will they all work, if found locally or would one have to be ordered thru BassCat store, meaning would be without for a week?

Ay TruckLite brand lit would be our suggestion.

It could be a short. Make sure the ground wire isnt loose.

Got the rear trailer taillight module out and can easily see with a bright flashlight the inside bulb blown apart completely. Believe this one is 11 yrs. old so can see where it might have been due, like I said I replaced the right side close to 6 yrs. ago. This is a Trucklite brand so see why BCB recommended that – not sure if they are available in my area, will check. I know BPS has the Optronics replacement submersible so I assume should be about the same thing if “Trucklite” not available around here in various auto parts stores. Thanks

TruckLite were USA made and Optronics is fine, just Chinese and should Again work fine.

Got two of the Truck-Lite replacement rear tail lights, replaced both and working fine now. The right rear was working anyway but replaced with new one along with the new left side and keep that one for emergency spare.
