Well heres another worm to bite at!!! what did everyone think about President Obamas speech? and are there any boat manufacturers reaching for the stimulus bailout money?

No marine stimulus money coming to north Arkansas. Some to Easter, Northwestern, Western and Central Arkansas we saw in the review of the stimulus projects. Lexington, Kentucky made out we saw.

All that is being stimulated is a bunch of congressmens pockets. This will take our country thirty years to pay for, and they just dont understand that you dont spend your way out of a recession, or borrow your way to prosperity. What is so hard about that ? All in all a good first speach, then alot of republican hugging by the pres. just so he will “look” like hes trying, but to me the “inherited” this debt remark was very divisive, expecially since hes going to more than triple the debt. Go figure, D.

When Obama said he inherited the debt from the Bush years, he neglected to point out that he and his fellow demos voted voted for every penny that was spent, even adding more than President Bush asked for.. Congress is the outfit that authorizes spending. Obama might not have voted for all the spending, because most of his time as Senator was spent running for office. Then he just added 800 billion (one trillion with interest) to that debt, with another 450 billion now ready for him to sign with 8000 ear marks. And he can say the stimulus bill has “no earmarks” with a straight face. Congress has maxed out their credit card and now will have to resort to the money printing press to keep up with their spending. And these are the people poised to take over our banks and health care system. All the terrorists have to do is stand by and watch our country implode. There is only one motivation Congress has, buying votes with earmarks and getting re-elected. Its not a pretty picture!! Skipjack

The healtcare thing is a joke. Call any doctor in your town and ask if they take NEW medicare patients….. They dont! Interesting how they(politicians) never mention this simple fact. But hey they dont have medicare like the rest of us anyway! They make it any harder and I will not deal with them either. Will go back to the way my grandfather did it—- Cash bills that are a helluva smaller bill(30% of the original bill!) cause I dont have to pay all the fools that administrate that program.WardC.O.D. I tried doing the cash thing with health care Ward, it didnt work for me. The Dr offices wouldnt come off their charges when dealing with me for cash, But if I turned it in to my insurance they took what insurance would pay ( a lot less), plus they had to wait for the insurance to pay, when I would pay as I left the office. Didnt and still doesnt make sense to me
