Hey Guys, have a 07 Cougar FTD and recently my aerator quit working. My first thoughts were to replace the cartridge, thinking it ceased up. After doing so I still never had any luck. Ended up checking power were the pump connects to the wiring coming from the dash and had no power. My recirc has 12V but nothing on my aerator. I cant seem to find any fuses that may have blown and when I push the timed button on the dash I can hear the relay click. Im lost and dont know where to look for the problem. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.

If there is no outgoing power your ATen dash panel may have ended its expectancy at 8 years or so. Check the grounds if there is power on the outgoing aeration wire. Green will be the aerator.

For a temporary fix could I wire both my aerator and recirc into that same switch without causing and issues?

Possibly or use the wire from the Reirculator to power the Aerator.

I would like to use both the recirc and aerator. Just want to make Im not going to cause myself any more issues if I wire them together until the panel shows up. Thanks for your speedy response!

The internal circuit protection might shut down the pumps together. We would use one as this time of year most areas the water is not that warm and the aerator puts a 60% recirculation and 40% fresh water in the live wells once they are full.

my 2008 sabre ftd aerator quit working. pump works fine just getting no power. ground is good. tried new a10 panel with same results. anyone got any ideas.

If the panel is replaced then the pump might be pulling too many amps.
