I have just returned from my Fury test. Boat 2000 Cougar 225HP Optimax.previous prop Tempest 27 on the same conditions ran about 71-72 and 2 3/4″ below pad at about 5750. Decent hole shot just a hint of cavitation for a second or so on breakover under full throttle with holes wide open.I dropped the engine a solid 1/4″ and ran the 26 Fury. The hole shot seems a little sluggish, no cavitation at all Top end is about the same 71-72. RPM about 5700-5750I am a little worried that with full livewells that the hole shot will suffer even more. So here is the question Should I raise the motor a little and do anyone think the holeshot will improve?Irv
