Boat accident on Lake Hamilton- Two dead. Very sad……..

Please pray for those involved and their families. Very sad and tragic event we should all recognize as possible, anytime, anywhere…………………………………………………… Shortly after 10pm Thursday night, two boats on Lake Hamilton hit nearly head on. Perry Kilby, 47, and Dewey Tosh, 54, both from Hot Springs died in the accident. The accident happened near Fishermans Warf. On the other boat was Terry Johnson and Todd Johnson. They have minor injuries. Will do Doug…that is horrible. Dont know the particulars and it doesnt matter but another reminder of life jackets and kill switches. We had a bad accident on Bob Sandlin last Sat nite where a bassboat hit a cruiser after dark. Guy was navigating via GPS and never even looked up to see the other boat. It does appear everyone is going to be alright but one was in ICU most of the week. Judd Lasiter

This is tragic and close to home as well. I and my wife Mary were out on Hamilton fishing the night before, and it is a lake that requires extreme diligence simply due to the high traffic and population of people, homes, and watercraft as you all well know. I dont know any more specifics than has already been mentioned here, and as already stated above it really doesnt matter at this point. Our hearts and prayers go out to our neighbors and community here in Hot Springs to both the victims as well as the survivors. Lots of folks affected by this. We had two deaths and one in critical condition on Candlewood last weekend when a racing boat collided with a bass boat at 1:30 in the AM. Be careful out there guys.

Wow………that is tragic………..sending prayers for all the families……. Weve had several bad boating accidents in Arkansas this year. You guys be safe………..
