I have just recently bought this boat and I love it!!! I was just wondering what the dimple was for that is located on the port side of the boat up near the front of the bow. I have looked at other Bass Cats and I dont see a dimple on any of the others.

I believe it is a pilot hole for drilling the opening for a flush mounted flasher or temp guage.

Thanks for that info but I may not explained exactly right what I was talking about. This Dimple is more like a curved indention right at the rubber rub line just under the business end of the trolling motor when the TM is up. If this explanation doesnt help I will take a pic and include it in my next reply. Thanks, Wee Man

Oh! That little cut out was for an OMC (Johnson/Evinrude) trolling motor bracket, trap door spring that most just let ride the deck. Thus the bracket was crooked on other brands, though on a P3 it was level because the spring rode in that groove. Few ever noticed it or know what it is for. Details! DeTails! BCB
