Here is my problem. I have a 2000 Cougar with a blown 2000 225 HP Optimax. Mercury has been nice enough to offer me a powerhead at a discount. The total price of the powerhead plus the install is still substantial. I would rather put that money towards a newer boat. What I am looking for is a dealer with a 2003-2005 Cougar or Puma in the 24K-26K price range who would take my boat in trade. I would have Mercury ship the dealer the powerhead and we could work out the details. I bought my first BassCat back in 1993, this will be my third and I will not look at anything else. If anyone at BCB, any dealers who may read this, or any fellow BassCat owners could point me in the right direction I would be most greatful. Thanks.

dont know how close you are to alabama but airport marine in alabaster might be able to help you. i looked at their web page recently and they have some used basscats in stock. you should be able to get more info on their site http://www.airportmarine.com
