I just installed leds in my rod lockers, front storage compartments, battery area, and under dash. I tapped power from my in dash 12 volt receptacle which is always hot. I wired them in parallel, put a switch under dash to control them all, and fused the circuit close to the switch. I used the BPS strips in the lockers, but different panel mount leds in the other areas.I did not install deck lights, but, if I did, I much prefer the tiny bolt type that you barely notice when they are not in use. Six of these small leds will illuminate your entire deck. Also, the holes for installing them get completely concealed, whereas with the strips you see a small hole and some wire in the corner. Have a look at them at oznium.com Boat is a 2015 P2 and I found out after delivery that the interior lighting was no longer included in the AE package.
