Has anyone had issues with the paint flaking off of their skeg/foot on the motor (the grey part)? I had this issue about a year ago and I had it repainted and now that paint is flaking off. It doesnt hurt performance but it just looks crummy. Is there a solution I could do myself or someone around North Louisiana that yall would recommend to have it repainted? I also wouldnt mind have the whole thing sanded down to the black …I think it would look just as good if not better that way. Thanks, Tony D2017 Eyra / 250 Merc Pro XS
I had good success scuffin it up. Not sure wat it is called but it the green zinc chromate first then scuff lightly before actually painting. The trick is the green colored primer. The paint want stick to bare aluminum.2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
