Any BCB family have recommendations for reasonably priced accommodations at Lake Anna in Virginia?I would like to take a 4 day weekend with the family and enjoy some great spring time fishing and boating.Thanks!

The Potomac is on fire so you may want to spend a day or two fishing her if you make the trip toward Anna. I dont know of any lodging recommendations since I lived in Fredericksburg and simply made the drive. But I have a friend who guides on Anna who may be able to help you. His name is John Hutchins and you can message him via facebook at http://www.facebook.com/p….php?id=100000278379603. Also, BCB owner Scott Favors may be able to give you some Anna info. If your looking to camp, Christopher Run camp ground has cabins you can rent, tent and RV camping as well. High Point Marina has a nice little motel where your right on the water. There is also a place called Chelsy Joes across from Sturgeons Creek Marina. Its a restaurant and motel but not lake front. The last place is Lake anna state park. They have cabins and camping. Hope this helps.

Wow….I feel bad I am just now responding as I just got in from work. Thank you for all the replies rlb8s and BassDad824. I was going to try and get on the Potomac this Friday if wind lays down. Also looking to fish the end of month ABA Weekend Series tourney.Bassplaquer -Public or private is fine by me as long as secure/nice accommodations for the Ms. – on a budget of course.
