There doesnt seem to be a source for a speed signal going to the speedometer. The main wiring harness is plugged into the tach which is the info center then a 3 wire jumper going to the fuel gauge from there to the water pressure gauge then to speedometer. The gauge powers up when key is turned on but no reading when running. Also the water pressure gauge does not zero when key is trn off. Any help would be appreciated.

Is your speedometer hooked up to your gps? Could be the gauge is not set up to read NMEA 0183 or your gps is not set up to export that data. Theres also a “pitot” selection in the setup portion of the gauges. Does the water pressure zero when the key is turned on? If so, I wouldnt worry about it unless you feel like the gauge reading is wrong. All your readings are coming from the engines ECM except for the gps hook up.

You have to turn on the output on the GPS to get the NMEA signal to the speedo. The tach is the driver for the functions. If this is a Yamaha then it may be a manual gauge as the Yamaha conversion is not in the engine. Though on a Mercury it would be a digital gauge. Not sure on a BRP engine what the WP gauge is. We think it is turning on the output in the menu.BCB Admin.

On my Yamaha command link gauges I have to select NMEA output on my 1197 for the Speedo to display GPS data on my gauges. Sounds like it would be the same for the NexSysLink for Yamahas too. Just a thought that seems to have similar parallels.

This is on a Mercury setup so ill try turning on the GPS output and see if that works.Phil the water pressure gauge does not zero out when key is turned on but it does seem readin line with digital read out so i guess its nothing to worry about. Thanks for the help.
