When I turn on my boat security the alarm sounds once to show it is engaged.How about making it so the it sounds off when it it is disengaged? It could discourage a would be thief who knows the secret pass code.
We dont openly release the pass sequence and there are several depending on you year and model. Usually disarming is done in AM pre dawn hours. A beeper in the mornings at a motel might not be friendly to guests.
