Headed to Texas shortly for a few days of work/play at Falcon — so of course the call came today that my Puma FTD has arrived at Pops Marine (about 140 miles from the house). Guess shell have to sit that for a little over a week until I can get down that way. The water around here is iced over, but Id still like to have it in the garage to load her up and “get used to” everything.

As much as Id like to go to Lake Falcon for a week…Id cancel and go get that Puma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terry, thanks for being my designated whine-ee. Ive rearranged my work schedule so I can pick it up next week when I get back. Senor Short — where are you going to be and will Barone be with you? Do I have to wait until the Classic to get a dose of wisdow? (assuming Bowman lets me out of the media dungeon)

Ill be at Timonium this weekend and the esteemed Mr. Barone will be in Boston. In Boston doing a seminar at the RV show. A seminar at the RV show, did you get that? This from the man who couldnt even spell “R-V” a year ago. No he be a eks-pert on dem thangs. Stranger than friction. If I hadnt already been committed, think I would fly up to Boston just to stand in the back of the crowd and heckle him. Just a little. You guys have fun down there. Dont drink the water – cerveza only.
