Decided to swap out the center seat on my Jaguar for the carpeted step box. I was tired of cleaning the black marks on the sides of the main seats that is caused by raising and lowering the center seat back rest. Mr. Clean magic eraser was the only thing that would remove the discoloration. The step box is also easier to access the back deck with. Added a Jag decal to break up the white deck between the seats.

Looks great. Love the decal there. I use that small top compartment a lot for wallet, keys, scissors, and small items.

My opinion , for what its worth . — The step box looks great , but the first time you leave a drink in one of the holders , itll get sucked dry by the wind that comes through between the consoles . — Youll also want to make sure the box directly behind the seats is latched when youre running at speed . — My Classic has the livewells behind the seats , and it gets opened up quickly when you get to about 60 or so if not latched . — Hoss

Would it be possible to change back and forth between the step and the middle seat? Mine has the seat, but I think the step would be better most of the time.
