Basscat cap removal.

I think it could be done. Take your time and call Basscat I guarantee there is somebody up there that will take the time to get you headed the right direction.

Not trying to discourage you from restoring your boat, but just trying to give you some food for thought.. I love the old Cats and I own one myself, but you could probably find a solid hull without a motor for less then it would cost you to restore your Cat. Especially old boats 90% of the value is the engine. Theres a lot of old P2s I have seen ones without an engine in good shape for $1500. Might take you awhile to find it but its going to take you awhile to restore the cat and probably more money! Im way past the point of return in my Eyra but its not about the money anymore its more like a challenge to keep the antique on the water and looking good! hahaha Good luck with it and whatever you end up deciding!

After you talk to someone at BassCat, go over on bassboatcentral.com and look on the restoration page. Try to contact “total beverage”.
