What kind of braid line in the 60 lb test do you like best for casting with a baitcaster?

Ive always had good results and use Spiderwire braids. With the new “Fluoro-braid” coming out from Spiderwire and also another group, Suffix, could make it another option for other applications as well.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner

I may be in the minority but Ive had good luck with Fireline. Although, I only use it on one reel strictly for Carolina rigging and I always use a monofilament leader. Power Pro you wont find any better, just my opinion. I am sure there are other great choices but Power Pro is my prefered choice.

Power Pro is supple and strong, but really coarse. Like jignpig I really like spiderwire. I have been using that in almost all weights for years. The coating is awesome and makes for a really smooth braid. I have no experience with sufix though.- Chaz

The smoothest braid out there is the Suffix braid- soft through the eyelets. I have tried them all and am not a fan of Fireline- roughtest of all. I also use PowerPro- but my favorite is Suffix. I have not tried the new Suffix that just hit the market.

x2 on the Suffix. Have some that is going on 4 years now. Spool it onto old reels when not in use. And when frog season and heavy cover fishing gets here. i respool back onto my primary reels. This braid is extremely soft once it gets some wear on it.
