The “thing” on Ivans trolling motor bracket as seen on the updated Basscat.com page is a Quick Slip. For those guys who fish ultra shallow or run a 50 inch shaft trolling motor and have to adjust their troller up and down a lot, all I can say is youre gonna want one. It makes adjusting the height on the troller quick and easy. Ive had one for over six months and could not live without it.Only thing I dont like about it is the fact that I didnt think of it. http://www.eriesedgeguideservice.com/QuickSlip.html

Kevins right the Quick-Slip is a awesome TM addition! There is also a new Quick-Slip for your RAM mount (3 sizes available) I should have them in stock around March 11th…I have the Quick-Slip for both MotorGuide & MinnKota in stock now and as a promotion Im offering free freight on the first 50 Sold…A side note the majority of the owners of Quick-Slip are long time friends and members of the BCB family Sherm

I would bet Sherm is still offering the free shipping. I ordered mine Tuesday and got it in the mail today, going to put it on tomorrow if the storms dont blow me away.
