215 70 r15 thats what I have on my puma but basscat parts told me the new cooper cobras are st205/75r15 discount tire says cooper has discontinuid a lot of sizes do to low sales. I would like to buy a good 6ply rased white letter to replace the ones I have.
Can I get some feedback on replaceing tires, the cooper gt radial seem to be discontinued at this time ST205/75 R15.I would like a raised white letter simular to the Firestones I have.ThanksRodney
If you have a Discount tire store in your city just give them a call with size and brand. I did this for 2 tires on my trailer and they were able to have 2 shipped in and done 3 days later.GeorgeGeorge
I dont need tires yet, but while getting new tires put on my Sierra, I talked to the dealer locally about tires for my Cougar trailer. He had two or three different brands that could get that size. So a local dealer sounds like the best deal. Or, Ive thought when I get ready for tires, Ill just talk to Sherm and see if he can get them from BCB. Is that a possibility BCB?
I had a Cooper come completly apart on my way home Friday afternoon and have also busted the sidewall on another. My next set will be a much more heavy tire with more ply.
You should be able to go up some in size on a newer boat. The older rigs from about mid 2000 era were narrower fenders. Later models towards the end of 2000 were wider fenders. Check fender clearance behind tires and see how much space you have.
I have a 2011 Puma, so going up a size might be answer, the tires that are on it are Cooper Cobras, which appear to be passenger car tires, not trailer tires. From what I can tell there are few, if any trailer tires in the OEM size.
dont put cooper cobras back on . I have gone through seven tires in three years , tread separation . lucky no fender damage. cooper replaced all the tires. putting trailer tires on as they blow out.
