Cost to convert to hydraulic steering on 01 Classic.

It looks like the cables on my 01 classic are in need of replacing. After reading all the advantages of hydraulic I am considering going in that direction. Anyone have a ballpark idea of the cost for parts for this conversion? Also would appreciate an idea of the labor hours involved. I am curious of the cost effectiveness of the conversion. Any advice appreciated. Thanksrick

The helm is $500, the cylider is $500 and then you need the hoses and install. The helm and cables for cable steer are only $425 total. I would never change to hydraulic, dont like it. Next to no feed back, steering wheel never returns to same spot. Just not my cup of tea.
