What model of boat is this, and is it a Southco key>? OR could it be a Puma Advantage Elite model and the other brand. BCB

Sorry about that I have a 2010 puma ftd, with the stainless southco locks,I have a bag of keys all have the #S005 stamped on them.

Swap your damaged lock w/ one from a storage locker you seldom lock and problem solved. I dont think there is break-in proof lid lock. The latches just keep honest people and/or lazy thieves from taking your stuff.

Broke the key off in one of my southco locks after arriving at are first stop during a Friday tourney, couldnt get the broken half out. Used my needle nose pliers to pop the lock, didnt need much pressure to bend the looking pin on bottom of the lock cylinder. Can I bend the pin back and reinstall ? What are my options please? It seemed very easy for me to open this looked compartment,Very little pressure was used to pop this looking pin or cotter key, any insight and advise would be humbly appreciated.

I would try a real Hardware Store. There are not many of them around here any more, but I give all the business I can to the one we have. They have got me out of a bind many times.Dan
