I am wanting to get the app for my iPad but I am questioning if it is worth the $50.00 investment. It really sounds like it could be an awesome tool while setting at the desk with nothing to do but study. If anyone has some input on this please give me your feedback. I have the 9.99 on my IPOD. The only draw back is its not much good on the water. Ive been thinking about getting an iPAD just wondering on how much it cost to get on the water service.

Its awesome. Level of details is outstanding and you can switch back and forth with aerials. John

My iPhone App works as advertised with real time tracking. Cant comment on the iPad version and how it works connected to wifi and tracking.Also, I think the Navionics PC App is no longer available for purchase. Navionics is going toward web application. Those that already have PC App are grandfathered in with their current Premium and Platinum cards.Fly

I posted a question about the Navionics GoFree WiFi module on BBC.=15pxhttp://www.bbcboards.net/lowrance-garmi … -ipad.htmlNavionics is supposed to be putting an App in coming months that will allow you to use an iPad, phone, or other wireless device to display information from an HDS unit.Since its essentially a display you should get sonar, maps, or whatever is displayed on the main unit. Ill send an e-mail to Lowrance later this week and see what they have to say.

I also have the app and use all the time. Its perfect for planning out trips from the comfort of home or hotel.If you go to BS session on Facebook we will be giving the app to someone for free when we hit 300 likes.
