Nothing metal on my boat is shiny. Ive never been one much for chrome. My rims are starting to look rough. Polishing them back to a nice shine is a pain in the arse. (Ive done some in the past) And besides, they wont stay that way for long anyway. So im considering doing them back. Boat & trailer are dark green with sandstone cap & fender. Your boat so do what you want to do. If you dont like to keep things shiney then black them out.

I would use flat black plasti dip, if you dont like it then peel it right off.

Great!! You can be the ginny pig. I like the idea of using the plasti dip.
