We would like to Welcome Zach Milholland to Parts and Accessories at Bass Cat & Yar-Craft Boats. Zach and his family are returning to Mountain Home, AR where he grew up, and we are enthusiastic about his joining the company as the Parts and Accessories Manager. He will be responsible for managing the Parts and Clothing lines and working with everyone from the online staff to the delivery staff to coordinate parts and accessories in all aspects. He also will be assisting those who monitor this board and posting occasionally for the company. His role will bring him into communication with dealers as he will coordinate boat deliveries and match parts shipments on trucks to dealers, in order to reduce their freight cost of parts. Zach is joining with a seasoned staff of Allan Bell and Richard Mattey. Allan has learned much in his 1 1/2 years in Parts and Richard has over 20 years of experience with Bass Cat. He literally has the personal ability to do everything from wiring to installation on a Bass Cat and most parts of a Yar-Craft. Billy Coggins is now transferred to the Purchasing Department, and relieves Steven McGough, who was filling in there in his Project Coordinator role. Steven fills in wherever needed and now he can return to individual projects. There are two missions for Zach upon his starting at BCB/YCB. The first is the freight cost of packaging and aligning those costs with the geographic location of the delivery. A package to Dallas should not cost what a package to New Jersey does and we are going to revisit the price pattern that developed these past 5 to 6 months. Little Rock should pay the cost for delivering a package to Little Rock. A more in line structure will be created within days we hope and that should be his earliest task.Zachs second mission is the organization of old and inventory parts we have. There are dozens of covers, consoles and other parts we need to reduce in the inventory. Over the next month he will begin filling the Garage Sale board with parts we have for sale and adding many items we have in stock. This week he will meet with our on line staff and begin getting up to speed on the process and orchestrating better methods and procedures to better assist all of you. Zach has a passion for the outdoor arena and loves fishing as well as the Mountain Home area he grew up in. He wants to be at Bass Cat & Yar-Craft and he will be an excellent addition to the staff.
