Crazy Lowrance In-dash

My 1440 has a mind of its and will not cut off……..All it has is a bunch of different menus. Where is the power source on this thing??????? I need to take it out.

I am having the same problem with mine. It just started about 3 weeks ago, I asked bass cat about it but they dont warranty it, it is a Lowrance issue as for the power to it I have not dug around much but Im going run my boat tomorrow and I will look into it and post back.

I had the same problem with my 332c in dash. It started in 2007 and I had to replace the unit 3 times before I found one that would work properly. This has been an ongoing problem with Lowrance. What kind of electronics do you think I put in my new cougar? One guess, it wasnt Lowrance. Now I dont have any problems with electronics.

my 1440 did the same thing, lowrance replaced it without problems!! it was still under warranty though
