Just received my new Fury 4 prop today. Newby question here, but do I use the hub kit and all of its components that came with the new prop? I assume I do and read the directions but just want to make sure I dont install it incorrectly. Ive had the current prop off to change the lower unit oil but the hub kit that came with the Fury 4 is a little different. Engine is a Mercury 250. Use the hub, washers, and nut you took off. The one they ship with the prop is not the heavy duty hub. I dont think it fits anyway.

youll have to use the heavy duty hub that you are already using. The plastic hub wont fit.

Great, thanks. I just opened the box with the hub and didnt pay too much attention to it but noticed it was different. Son had a tournament today and I got home from work late last night so getting by on about three hours sleep. Too much money to screw it up so thought Id better ask. Thanks.

Any sugggestions on vent plugs starting out? Keep them all 8 out or any particular recommendation? 2017 Eyra, Fury 4, Mercury 250. Thanks.

You wont need any plugs most likely. Mine doesnt on a Cougar.

Thanks, appreciate it. Dumb question probably but is there any preference as to which two to plug? Two next to each other, opposite sides, or does it make any difference? With so many vent holes on the Fury 4 thought Id ask. Last edited by C130 on March 12th, 2017, 8:08 pm, edited 1 time in total.

I installed the Fury 4 on my 2010 Jaguar (250 pro xs) prop came with the Flo-torq ll Hub Kit (835257K 6) that I used,is this the wrong Hub?
