Any one used SLATE as a color in their boat?….

…Im playing with colors, and the chip that I have for Slate looks like it is in the silver/gray/charcoal area to my eyes, but it is decidely gold on the computer. I know colors look different in the sunlight, as well. Can anyone offer comments on this color, and others that might work well with it? Thanks, Mike Whitten/Germantown,TN

Ive seen several, some with red trim stripes and some with blueberry. Both look great.

Here you go http://bassboatowners.com/RussellPry.html It is a color that hide marks real easy. I like th ecolor because it changes, when its cloudy out its dark and when the sun is shining she will scream look at me.

Mike slate is a BCB exclusive, it has some gold in it also, I like Charcoal myself a hair better, it seems to be easier to blend bright colors with, like red,blue,green,black all look good with charcoal, and if you can see BCBs charcoal,silver,gunsmoke in person they are incredible, especially when you compare to the crap that other companies are “slingin” on the public,all hazy and dull, BCB is literally the masters in my opinion on Finish……Your Signature …

I have the charcoal ,red silver,colors which looks great,the only thing I wish I would have done different is the white bottom that shows mud lines so bad,but the colors work well together

i have a theory about the color of hulls white vs black vs. tan ect. Im just leery about sharing at this time probably to much thought for some to swallow, and its not about mud lines, i got this new cleaner called LA Awesom, the best ive ever used for them mud lines. you can get it at Dollar General about $3.00 a gallon for concentrate. spray on and rinse off takes all the elbow grease out of them real nasty mud lines
