2000 BassCat Sabre Silhouette Rebuilt 1988 Evinrude 150 Raker 24 (stock no holes) I took the boat out for the first time Sat. I have some low idle issues that I need to work out. I was able to get away from the dock and put some butt seat time in though. I was able to get it on plane 3 times the top speed was at 25 MPH at 2500 RPM I know that if knew what I was doing I can go faster. But this is my first bass boat so I dont mind taking it slow. Im trying to figure out to get the bow up and lower the trim and ease off the throttle. I know there is a sweet spot. Just enough throttle, trim at a certain spot etc. Is there a step by step process I can use to be more consistent?
