Nice deer! The diseases have really hit the deer hard up their in KY Ive heard. Glad to see youve managed to put one on the ground. Congrats!

30 yards, Mathews Legacy, 100 grain thunderhead. Was opening day of our gun season 4 pm, had to make a quick decision on the shot he was chasing a doe along with another smaller 8 point. He pummeled the 8 point just a few minutes earlier, throwing him onto the ground. Was a awesome few minutes to witness. I missed a 150 class 10 point earlier in the week and passed a 140 class 8 point the week before. Was a awesome week to be in the woods with alot of bucks on thier feet. Just wish I had another opportunity at that 150″ 10 point I missed.Last edited by Rich young on November 17th, 2007, 4:53 am, edited 1 time in total.

Now thats COOL! I have a son that is getting into archery with my brother. Be careful out there! Just this morning my hunting buddy told me about someone falling out of a tree stand with a rope tied around hime, upside down. He managed to get to his cell phone and called 911. It took the people 3 hours to find him and he was yelling for help all the time. He said he was ok. Is this the same person from Arkansas or another story. My thought was that a person could not hang up side down that long and live? Skipjack68 FL

Richie, very nice high quality deer! In which county were you hunting? I hunted Trimble opening weekend and in an area that I usuallly see tons of deer, we saw very few. That disease has hit that area hard. Have a blessed day, AJ
